P-Con 7 Guest of Honour: Nick Harkaway, author of best selling novel, "The Gone-Away World".

Nick Harkaway, author of the best selling novel, “The Gone-Away World”, studied philosophy, sociology and politics at Cambridge before taking up employment in the film industry.  Describing the film industry as somewhere that was nice to visit, but he wouldn’t want to live there, he decided it better to become an author.

Nick’s other interests include, fencing, aikido, jujitsu, and kickboxing.  He is also mildly obsessed with bizarre trivia.
