Phoenix Convention

Those who have seen him (or rather experienced him) at previous conventions will know that John Vaughan is a one-man entertainment engine. He's fast, funny and often furious.

John started off as your more-or-less typical manic movie enthusiast, spending a lot of time telling everyone how he would once day make his own movies.

But unlike so many others, John actually carried out his promise and has since become an award winning Film maker and Screenwriter honing his craft with short films such as The Boogieman , Valour ( A War Story that represented Irish Cinema at Twenty Six International Film Festivals) and My Dad which took the prestigous Best Short Film award at the Action on Film Festival  in Pasadena , California. John Is currently helping to organise the Second "Blaster" film awards which will take place later this year at Octocon and he's working on something else ...something secret that "I'm dying to tell you about....but then I'd have to kill you mwah ha ha ha!
